Design and development of embedded electronic systems, multilayer PCBs and System on Modules for industrial applications.
About the role
We are looking for a Hardware Electronics Engineer to join the REIDITE Electronics team. You will be responsible for the design, development and validation of complex embedded electronic systems, including our System on Modules (SoM) and carrier boards.
Responsibilities
- Design of high-speed multilayer schematics and PCBs (DDR, Ethernet, differential buses)
- Component selection and BOM management
- Design with STM32 microcontrollers and FPGAs (Lattice iCE40)
- Signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) simulation
- Prototype bring-up and debugging
- Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT)
- Collaboration with the firmware and embedded software team
- Technical documentation and validation report generation
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications or similar
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electronic hardware design
- Proficiency in EDA tools (KiCad, Altium Designer or similar)
- Solid knowledge of multilayer PCB design (minimum 4 layers)
- Experience with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers (preferably STM32)
- Knowledge of communication buses: SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USB
- Ability to read and interpret datasheets and application notes
- Knowledge of power supply regulators (DC-DC, LDO) and power rail design
- Technical English proficiency
Nice to have
- Experience with FPGAs (Lattice, Xilinx or Intel/Altera)
- RF or antenna design knowledge
- Experience with CE, EMC regulations and industrial certifications (EN-60068)
- Familiarity with industrial protocols (Modbus, EtherCAT, PROFINET)
- Experience with lab instrumentation (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, VNA)
- Contributions to open-source hardware projects
